Thank you for visiting our site. If you are a student of Mr. Aymar’s welcome to “Your Legacy”.
This is our first step to reconnect the people who were touched by the deep love and care of Mr. Aymar - a Master Teacher. He created a unique bond with each of his students, while inspiring them with humor and fun filled English lessons that created a language that unites all of his students. His intellectual curiosity, love of reading and humor are qualities that he shared generously to create a legacy that is his lifelong gift to his students. |
The Michael Aymar Foundation - a 501(c) (3) non profit organization- is the vehicle for all of us to become a community; to honor Mr. Aymar’s spirit, share his passion for learning with other students and help those families facing hardship due to health, death or a job loss provide their children with the best education offered in Catholic Schools.
Since our launch in 2016, we have awarded a total of $ 114,300 in NASHDO Scholarships to 24 Ambassadors at: Lacordaire Academy, Montclair, Our Lady of the Lake - Verona, Aquinas Academy - Livingston, St. Thomas the Apostle - Bloomfield, St. Joseph School - East Orange and St Benedict's Preparatory School - Newark
As of July 2025 we have entered into an exclusive Scholarship partnership with St. Benedict's Preparatory in Newark. During 2025 a $ 15,000 grant was awarded to the school so they can identify the middle school students that meet the criteria of hardship due to health, death or a job loss. Including this grant, our total NASHDO Scholarship awards as of 2025 is $ 129,300.

We have completed over 50 FREE " Life Skills Workshops" including "STEM in Place" virtual workshops, benefiting hundreds of students.
